Berries are grown outside in rows and vines. The farmer has a unique challenge when growing berries as he/she has to take into consideration a multitude of variables, some of which are listed below:

Champ’s growers combined have numerous years of experience in the Monterey Bay region of California, and what various conditions they have to work with, whether that be in the form of pests or environmental challenges.

Once the berries ripen, they are hand-picked and packed in the field. Once packaged and boxed, they are brought to a cooler and immediately placed in cold storage to take the field heat out of the berry and then they are ready for immediate shipment.
