The growers at Champ understand how the weather, soil, nourishment, pests and diseases affect the different varieties and each plant.  Champ’s growers combined have numerous years of experience in the Monterey Bay region of California, and what various conditions they have to work with, whether that be in the form of pests or environmental challenges.

Timing is crucial for planting the berry crops.

The length of the growing season will vary by berry type, variety, and the climate within each growing region.
